Emmaus Bible College - Registrar

Emmaus Bible College is a Brethren Bible College, located in Epping, NSW.

Offering both Higher Education and Vocational Qualifications, we are looking for a person with experience as a part time Registrar in an educational institution to join our team.

Reporting to the Principal this person will have responsibility for the enrolments and course unit registrations of all students at the college. This includes the reporting of student information and course results to our governing authorities.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they can work within the framework and Statement of Belief of Emmaus Bible College.

Additionally, experience in Eminerva, an understanding of the Fee-Help and the greater student grant scheme as well as knowledge of international student visa requirements is highly advantageous.

It would further be expected that the successful applicant would possess a Tertiary qualification.

Full Time Pastoral Position, Adelaide

The Woodcroft Christian Centre is located in the southern suburbs of Adelaide and has it’s foundations in the open Brethren movement, with a congregation of approximately 200 people, ranging across all age groups.

We have a group of Elders who shepherd the church, one of whom is the full time Pastor.  We are seeking a suitably qualified, energetic person to work within the Eldership Team in the role of a Pastor/Elder to expand our Pastoral team. 

The ideal candidate would have the following experiences, skills and qualifications

  • A mature Christian who is passionate about equipping the saints for work of the ministry for the building up of the body of Christ. Eph 4:12
  • Some previous church leadership experience
  • Formal biblical training
  • Sound knowledge of, and ability to teach and communicate the Word of God
  • The ability to build relationships.

The ministry will involve

  • Working and developing a team environment with the present Eldership and Pastor
  • The ability to make contact with the community
  • The ability to develop a passion for outreach

The successful applicant will need to know

  • Their specific giftedness
  • Be comfortable with who they are
  • Express a shepherd’s heart in ministry
